The Oracle of Amon - Egyptian Tarot is base on four historic premises: The legendary Book of Thoth, reputed to have the history of the world in picture format and stored with the Ark of the Covenant; The visit of Alexander the Great to the Oracle of Amon at Oasis Siwa in 331 B.C.; The Zodiac relief in the roof of the Hathor Temple in Dendra and; The 26 major gods and goddesses of ancient Egypt. This program has a traditional menu system, manual card selection with relevant myths and stories, reverse card images, several mp3 music titles appropriate for the program, and uses MS Agent technology for human speech.
There are eleven popular tarot spreads to use for reading the cards. These include the Star Spread, Celtic Cross, French Cross, Daily and Weekly Horoscope, Question / Answer, Planetary Spread, Consequences Spread, 3 and 9 card Past Present Future Spread and the famous Zodiac Spread. Cards may also be manually selected.
